Koshal bandh has been supported by the Bargarh unit of BJP led by Sri Ashwini Sarangi, State Vice President. The protest was joined by senior BJP leader Souri Charan Barik, and Abanikanta Panda etc. Sri Sarangi says, High Court Bench and WODC office should be immediately shifted to western Odisha.
Koshal Sena unit of Bangaluru has also extended its support to the separate sate movement. Responding to the call given by KSCC the Sena has staged protest in front of Biju Pattnaik Birth Centenary Celebrations venue in Bangaluru. Thousands of Odia people and political leaders were present while the protest was staged.
In a similar event, the student wing of KKD and movement, AKSU staged protest in support of separate state in Bhubaneswar.
